Description: Just around the corner from Three Rivers Resort, the Taylor and East rivers come together to form the mighty Gunnison. This scenic float trip leaves from the resort and winds its way through the countryside, ending up just north of the Gunnison City Limits. It is a beautiful ride with fun ripples during high water. It is a great option for families with young children or for anyone who would rather float than paddle. Our guides do all the work using an oar frame so you just sit back and enjoy the ride, however paddle trips may be requested. No experience is necessary. Minimum weight is approximately 30 lbs. All trips meet at Three Rivers Resort 30-45 minutes prior to trip time. To save time at check-in, download our rafting waiver and have it completed upon arrival.

This is a great trip for the whole family, any age or ability. Easy class I & II water with trips ranging from 2 hours to an all day trip with a great riverside lunch. Everyone in your group will be amazed at the beauty as we paddle through the wonderful heart of the Gunnison valley. You’ll feel you are in another world and gaze skyward as we Float beneath the towering palisades cliffs. the kids will scream with delight as we splash through the Gunnison whitewater park and several other small rapids. We often see deer, great blue herons and eagles as we float the lower Gunnison into the national park area.
