The Gunnison River Festival is planning on putting on a bigger and better festival in 2009!  The 2008 Down River Race on the Upper Taylor was a huge success in its first year and flows on the Taylor will be even better in June.  Competitors raved about the new wave at the Gunnison White Water Park in 2008 and we’ve scheduled our festival to be during peak flows for our wave and right after FIBARK.  We added the Gunnison Loco-Motive Multi-Sport Race and Gunnison Glory Endurance Climbing Festival, a river-boarding demo, and slalom course to complement the freestyle, boatercross, and the hilarious Build-your-own boat race!   Mark your calendar for June 26-28!
